Schedule

• 1:30 p.m.: Arrive at Louis Armstrong Stadium wearing academic attire.
  • Pick up name card
  • Assemble with department and line up. Grads will not line up alphabetically or by program so plan to arrive with your friends.
• 2:15 p.m.: The student procession will move to the stadium.
• 2:30 p.m.: Process to student seating.
• 2:45 p.m.: Program begins

During the program, each graduate will have their name read and they will be hooded on stage.

• Graduates will be able to register for up to eight (8) guest tickets.
• Ticket registration begins on Wednesday, April 6th  and concludes on Friday, April 22nd.
• Tickets are electronic and will be sent via email from Ticketmaster to the graduate. 
• Guests cannot print tickets for scanning at the stadium. They must be scanned on a smartphone.

Academic Attire

 All students who plan to participate in Convocation must wear academic attire.

Doctoral grads rent or buy academic attire from the CU Bookstore and wear a CU Doctoral robe, hood, and black velvet tam.

Graduates can purchase/rent attire from the bookstore in-person or via email - bkscolumbia@bncollege.com. 

Academic attire is available as of Monday, March 14, 2022. The last date to order Academic Attire is Wednesday, April 27, 2022.

Doctoral robes and hoods can be rented or custom attire can be purchased. However, tams must be purchased to accompany Doctoral rental gowns.

How Much Will It Cost Me?

To rent a robe & hood, and purchase tam the cost is $201 

• Hood = $43
• Robe = $83
• Tam = $75
