Please note that while the Convocation ceremony will take place on Thursday, April 29, 2021, the official conferral of degrees will occur on May 19, 2021.

In addition to the Teachers College Convocation ceremony, Columbia University will also host an All-University Commencement ceremony that will celebrate degree recipients from all 17 of CU schools and colleges. Wear your academic attire and come ready for a professional photoshoot on Butler Lawn. If you’re not local and can’t make it to campus, an exciting virtual booth will be available to all graduates from April 26-30.
From Saturday, April 17 through Saturday, May 1, Columbia University will be hosting portrait sitting on the main campus.
