Celebration for Families
This special year-end celebration recognizes the achievements of TC's graduates for overcoming the barriers that coincide with identifying as a first generation scholar and/or scholar of diverse background. The event also seeks to honor the families and loved ones of these graduates for their continued encouragement and support during their academic journey. The celebration will include an address from President Bailey, faculty speakers, and graduating students.
The centerpiece of the program is letters written by graduates to their families and friends reflecting on their graduate school journey and what the support of their loved ones means to them. All letters will be included in the printed program and several will be selected to be read aloud during the program. You will have the opportunity to upload your letter when you register.
Invitations will be sent to grads on Monday, April 13, 2026 Grads will be able to register for up to four (4) guests.
